There is a total of 11 songs on this DVD: The songs include: “want, conflict, stupify, Fright, voices, droppin plates, Yell 2000, Down with the sickness, the game “, **plus** Bonus: “perfect insanity”, and “A welcome Burden”. Some of the footage is videos some is live performances. All songs on here are NOT clips, all these are rotund, and uninterupted. On both the videos and live performances, the sound and report are very trustworthy qaulity. This was deffinitly made for DVD. Only complaint in this station is some of the older footage of the band is grainy, VHS quality, But the satisfactory thing is they do not expose too noteworthy of this footage in the video. 95% of the video quality is awsome, and curious. Besides music, they have plenty of backstage antics, and partying, similar to pantera’s DVD. They also philosophize the orgin of Jumpy and do Bio’s on each member, plus each member tells stories. It is a very well rounded DVD, it covers all corners. It is reasonably priced too. Ive watched this 3 times, so there may be even more hidden things on here that I have not yet discovered (although i believe i got them all), but I can deliver you it is over 2 1/2 hours of entertainment, plus after you have watched all the backstage footage and earn tired of that they have an option to objective play the songs on the DVD (unlike pantera’s DVD) . Disturbed: M.O.L. (Meaning of Life) is Disturbed’s first DVD, and it’s a top-notch one. It’s not Frat Party at the Pankcake Festival righteous, but it’s watchable. It features everything you’d inquire from a band’s official home video: live performances (featuring “Panic”, “Roar 2000″ and blueprint more), music videos (all 3 from The Sickness, “Down With The Sickness”, “Stupify” & “Voices”), how they got together, ect. I don’t know why the first reviewer said it was too serious, I don’t know. It shows the band playing jokes on each other and all that …. The band’s from Chicago, and there’s a lot of references to their hometown in it. I’d recommend this to you if you are a fan, and like more than 6 songs off both their albums, otherwise it’s not really worth it. Later.

A season in the life of broken-down fashion designer, Isaac Mizrahi, as documented by his (then) boyfriend/director/former-Sundance-Film-Fest-Darling, Douglas Keeve. Opening with Mizrahi reading a devastating review in *Womens Wear Daily* of his most unique collection, it is a heartbreaking moment that only artists really understand. But unflattering criticism is section of the ballgame, and Mizrahi rolls with the punches. There is no time to wallow – there’s another collection to be designed, and we spy as Mizrahi looks for inspiration in a variety of sources, eventually becoming most inspired by the concept of basing his Tumble collection on the 1935 film *Call of the Wild* and 1922s *Nanook of the North*. What seems such an unlikely course becomes magic as we peek the rough ideas of suede boots and fuzzy jackets transform themselves into a cohesive statement of winter luxury that is completely unusual. We peruse the details being refined, the fabrics being selected, and most amusingly, the fittings being done with the Holy Trinity of supermodels, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington. We glimpse Evangelista exactly as we question to – the biggest diva of them all – whining of being discriminated against in shoe selection. This is the woman who once said, “[We] don’t fetch out of bed for less than $10,000,” but the power she brings to the runway appears to beget her worth every penny. Isaac doesn’t have that bitchy edge that so many cup-cake designers have, so is humorous and likable. Despite the publicity this movie brought him, his company folded. He said–before his company went under–that when someone praised this film to him, he’d rather they’d said, “I bought one of your jackets at full-price.” Isaac then went after the movie business. He didn’t attractive well there, I guess, because last I read of him, he’s doing a one-man stage present about his life. (As a heterosexual male, it was kind of astounding, too, to observe Isaac hugging and pinning the most striking fashion model women alive–Christie Turlington for one–and remain sober-faced and unaffected. If I were hugging Turlington, I’d faint from joy!) A helpful suppliment to this is the book THE Kill OF FASHION that describes in one fraction the demise of Isaac’s brand. For one thing, he DID have big-selling items, and the retailers would beg him for more. But he played the artist-image a bit too considerable, and refused to expose things, and only did unusual things that inspired him. Well, he inspired himself true into bankruptcy. But this film, documenting when the company was smooth going, is immense fun to behold.

This 1954 film was written and directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz who determined does know how to earn movies. In one of the very first scenes, Ava Gardner is dancing in a nightclub in Spain. She prefers going barefoot and this theme is emphasized all the time, showing her barefoot whenever possible. Rossano Brazzi, who doesn’t appear till slack in the film, is cast as the right romance in her life. All of these actors do a friendly job, but I was particularly impressed with the performance of Edmund O’Brien, cast as a public relations man for a studio executive. It’s a puny section but I unprejudiced kept thinking how obliging he was. Later I discovered that he won an Academy Award for this role.

It’s the screenplay that moves the action. It never lagged and I sat there with my eyes glued to the conceal wondering what would happen next. Considering that this is basically fair a appreciate sage, that’s saying a lot. I totally enjoyed the viewing experience. It’s too abominable though, that there were no features included on the DVD. It would have been nice to have a microscopic more background. “The Barefoot Contessa” gets a high recommendation from me fair because I enjoyed it so mighty.

The characters actually have depth and they can act! How refreshing. While watching I found myself impartial intrigued with Ava Gardner and contemplate she is perhaps one of the most sparkling women ever to grace the earth. The dialogue is simply deliciously revealing as the characters squawk from their hearts.

Ava plays the Barefoot Contessa, Maria Vargas who is discovered in Madrid. I expected there to be mighty more dancing in this movie, being it was about a dancer. However, there is fair really one scene of her dancing out in the launch with her gypsy friends where she sees the man she falls madly in appreciate with. He is a nobleman and can provide everything for her. She sees him as the man who has seen more in her than any man ever has before.

The scenes where Ava and Bogart express are the most meaningful. Bogart has a scheme of bringing out Maria’s natural curiosity. When anyone tells her “no” she says “yes.” She is certain to be owned by no one and yet, everyone seems to want to occupy her. She fears being exposed and unprotected. Emotionally, she is peaceful a child in many ways and believes in fairy tales. The harsh realities of loving someone and not receiving it in return seem foreign to her.

The first scene is in a graveyard and from here, the scenes flash befriend to the past in a continuous fashion throughout with narration. Each section of the legend is revealed at impartial the upright moment.

The rest of the movie seems to deal more with her career and savor interests. The theme of Cinderella and “shoes” plays out well and is very considerable in many ways. I can’t contain it took so long to release this movie! The animation is astounding- it all flows together but is completely unpredictable. It’s like Bickford is tapping into a whole world the rest of us can’t ogle.

I was expecting a straight forward telling of the myth of Prometheus- instead he hooked novel ideas into the landscape and created something fresh. It’s extraordinary to contemplate that animation stale to be created in such an intense way- it makes it seem so remarkable more personal.
